This past fall, I got super into fitness and working out. I have always been an active person; when I was younger, you name a sport, I played it for at least a season. In high school I played 2 Varsity sports, and in college I dabbled in rec league sports. Then after I graduated, I sort of fell off the wagon a bit and was really inconsistent with working out. I went through a cardio phase, a yoga phase, a spin phase, but nothing ever really stuck. Last year, I got into lifting and weights, and I haven’t turned back.
I’m going to save the rest of my fitness journey for another post, because I am planning to start up another health and fitness regimen once I get back from my honeymoon at the end of the month, so I will be going into much more detail then, and taking you guys along the journey with me!
Today, I am sharing my 20 favorite workout songs. I am always updating and adding to my workout playlist, but I generally like to listen to a combination of rap and EDM. I like songs that have a build up and a fast beat, they really help me push through my workout. It’s crazy how much music makes a difference in my workout. One time a couple of weeks ago, the headphones I was using weren’t working properly, and I felt like I was half-assing my whole workout.
